I read this one a little early. I'll read another color one so I'm not breaking the rules!

I finished my "color" book today - an interesting mystery set in London.

Book one done. It was an easy read being part of a series that I already adore.

Why is it I only remembe certain things a second after I hit the enter button?

I forgot to include the title of my book in the link. It's Kitty and the Silver Bullet.

I'll do better next time.

The Silver Touch by Rosalind Laker takes place in the 1700's in England. It is a true story about Hester Bateman, a very artistic young woman who marries an apprentice silversmith. She works along-side her husband John in his workshop learning and perfecting her talents, while raising 6 children. After her husband's death, she applies for her own silver stamp 'HB'. She goes on to become very accomplished and successful as a silversmith in her own right.

This was a very different read for me (I normally read thrillers), but I really did enjoy it. It was interesting and informative. I'm glad I read it.

I did a big "reading round-up" that included other books besides the one I read for the color option of the challenge. But this post also includes my review for "Windy City Blues" by Sara Paretsky. This was my first one completed for the challenge :)

Happy Reading!

I just finished A Study in Scarlet, and posted my review.

It was pretty good. Not great, but pretty good.

Sorry I'm really messing this up. I should have added the title of the book - Half of a Yellow Sun.

Well, crud. I posted my link in the wrong place here.

Sorry about that, folks. I've added it to the right category now.

I think this actually finished this challenge for me. Yea, me! My first challenge, and not my last, though I promise not to catch Debi's challengitis any time soon. Thanks for a wonderful time, Annie!
