Oops - forgot to post the title of the book. Is there any way I can edit my link?

If not, the book was Ann Kelley's Costa Children's Book of the Year, The Bower Bird.

Annie, I set up a blog just so I could post reviews for your challenge! I don't really know how to link it to your blog, but perhaps your mom can help. When I entered my name, there was no way for it to link to my list of books. (This one was the animal book--The Cheese Monkeys: A Novel in Two Semesters.) Of course, I haven't posted the whole list on the new blog. If your mom can help me fix that little aspect, it would be really great.

Wow--- there are a lot of fast readers in this challenge. I am number 18 on this particular type of book, but I am still hoping that I can finish all the books on time :)

Oops! I forgot to post the title of the book. Sorry!

It was "The Black Cat" by E.A. Poe

I remember I saw this movie a loooong time ago, but never read the book. what a mistake. Even if you've seen the movie of "To Kill a Mockingbird" I highly recommend you read the book. the movie does a good job, but you can't get the feelings and thoughts of all the characters and all the subplots.

I actually finished the challenge quite some time ago, but have just been lax in posting. My favorite book was probably The Last Days of Dogtown, although I really enjoyed reading all of them. I read books that I would have not ordinally read and thus opened up new interests. Thanks, Annie, it was fun.
